EXTENDING THE LIFE OF CIRCUITS AND INSTRUMENTS
MAXIMUM PROTECTION FROM WATER, DIRT AND MOISTURE
Anti-oxidant treatments for electrical and electronic systems
NANOCOATINGS® anti-oxidant treatments for electrical and electronic systems are designed to protect components, equipment and systems that are meant to operate even in particularly harsh environmental conditions.
Moisture, condensation, salt air, water, fog, rain, aggressive atmospheres and large temperature swings are some of the main causes of oxidation, corrosion, electrical leakage and malfunctions. The treatment creates on the surface an extremely thin and resistant protective film, with waterproofing, anticorrosion, insulating and lubricating properties, helping to preserve the efficiency and reliability of the treated components over time. One of the most interesting features of the technology is the ability to work even in difficult conditions, including damp surfaces or surfaces already affected by oxidation, reducing the preliminary operations needed before application.
The treatment is particularly suitable for electric motors, electrical cabinets and panels, printed circuit boards, contacts, terminal blocks, antennas, navigation systems, electronic equipment and components installed in industrial or marine environments, or otherwise exposed to high humidity and salt air.
The protection helps limit the formation of oxidation and corrosion, improve electrical insulation, reduce the risk of leakage and short circuits and extend the service life of the equipment. The treatment can also be reapplied over time depending on the operating conditions and the level of exposure of the component.
The formulations are designed for industrial applications and can also operate in extreme climatic conditions, including very low temperatures, down to about -80 °C, where provided for by the specific characteristics of the product.
FEATURES OF THE ANTI-OXIDANT TREATMENTS:
They protect electrical and electronic equipment from all forms of moisture: vapour, condensation water, salt air, fog, rain, acid rain, sea water, chlorinated water
They protect from corrosion
They prevent short circuits and protect electrical and electronic contacts from freezing
They restore the functionality of electrical contacts, electrical components and electronic devices that have been exposed to water, moisture, oxidation or corrosion
They prevent oxidation and the formation of fungi and mould on electrical and electronic contacts
They improve electrical insulation (electrical contact reactivator)
They make it possible to restore, maintain and improve the resistance and insulation values of electrical material located in a damp environment
They clean electrical and electronic contacts and protect them from dust and dirt
They extend the life of electrical devices and electronic equipment in damp environments or in extreme climatic conditions
They improve the quality of electrical contacts and prevent electrical leakage
They protect from static electricity and short circuits
They allow electrical equipment that had been immersed in water to be switched on
