This Privacy Policy explains the purposes of the processing of personal data by the Data Controller in relation to the processing carried out on or through the website, the use of cookies and the ways in which the user can exercise the rights recognised to them regarding their personal data.

The information provided by the user will be used to contact them when necessary, for example to notify them of changes in the functionality of the website or to communicate offers of services (subject to consent) that may be of interest. The purposes and methods of the processing of personal data through this website or otherwise will in any case comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (Privacy Code), the full text of which, including the rights of the data subject provided for in art. 7, can be found at www.garanteprivacy.it and with EU legislation (European General Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016, GDPR) and subsequent amendments. This privacy policy applies exclusively to the online activities of this site and is valid for visitors/users of the site. It does not apply to information collected through channels other than this website. The purpose of the privacy policy is to provide the greatest transparency regarding the information that the site collects and how it uses it. This information is processed in automated form and collected exclusively in aggregate form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site, and for security reasons (from 25 May 2018 this information will be processed on the basis of the legitimate interests of the Data Controller). For security purposes (spam filters, firewall, virus detection), the data recorded automatically may also include personal data such as the IP address, which could be used, in accordance with the laws in force on the matter, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or to harm other users, or in any case harmful activities or activities constituting a crime. Where the site allows comments to be entered, or in the case of specific services requested by the user, the site automatically detects and records certain identifying data of the user, including the email address. Such data are understood to be provided voluntarily by the user at the time of requesting the service. By entering a comment or other information the user expressly accepts the privacy policy, and in particular consents to the content entered being freely disseminated, including to third parties. The data collected by the site during its operation are used exclusively for the purposes indicated above and kept for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. In any case the data collected by the site will never be provided to third parties, for any reason, unless there is a legitimate request from the judicial authorities and only in the cases provided for by law. Data used for security purposes (blocking of attempts to damage the site) are kept for 7 days. Information that users of the site decide to make public through the services and tools made available to them is provided by the user knowingly and voluntarily, exempting this site from any liability for any violations of the law. However, refusing consent may make it impossible to provide certain services and the browsing experience on the site could be compromised. From 25 May 2018 (the date on which the GDPR came into force), this site will process some of the data on the basis of the legitimate interests of the Data Controller.

COOKIE POLICY
Dear Visitor (hereinafter “You” or the “User”), this website is run by the company AMR Group S.r.l., with registered office at Via dei Cosulich 15, 34147 Trieste (TS), VAT No. and Tax Code 01189750324, owner of the registered trademark NANO COATINGS® (hereinafter “We”, the “Company” or the “Controller”). Because so-called cookies are sent through our services, with this notice we want to explain what cookies are and how We use them. Some of these cookies (so-called third-party cookies) are delivered and controlled by third parties. In this notice you will find links to the notices published by these third parties, which we ask you to read carefully.
A. What cookies are and what they are for
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send directly to their device (usually the browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on the user’s next visit (so-called first-party cookies). While browsing a site, the user may also receive on their device cookies from other sites or web servers (so-called third-party cookies); this happens because the website visited may contain elements such as images, maps, sounds, or specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, these are cookies that are set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting. Cookies may have a duration limited to a single browsing session on the browser (so-called session cookies), in which case they are deactivated automatically when the user closes the browser; or they may have a predetermined expiry date, in which case they will remain stored and active on your hard disk until that expiry date, continuing to collect information during different browsing sessions on the browser (so-called persistent cookies). Cookies are used for different functions. Some are necessary to allow you to browse the Site and use its features (so-called technical cookies). Others are used to obtain statistical information, in aggregate form or not, on the number of users who access the Site and on how the Site is used (so-called monitoring or analytics cookies). Others, finally, are used to track a profile of you as a consumer and to display advertisements on the Site that may be of interest to you, as they are consistent with your tastes and consumption habits (so-called profiling cookies). To learn more about these different categories of cookies, continue reading this notice. Find out how they work and what they are for, and freely choose whether to consent to their use or to prevent it. These are:
B. Technical or necessary cookies
This Site uses Cookies to save the User’s session and to carry out other activities strictly necessary for its operation; browsing preferences are also stored to optimise the User’s browsing experience.
C. Statistical cookies
Some of the services listed below collect statistics in aggregate form and may not require the User’s consent or may be managed directly by the Controller – as described – without the help of third parties. Should the tools indicated below include services managed by third parties, these could – in addition to what is specified and even without the Controller’s knowledge – carry out activities of tracking the User. For detailed information on this, we recommend consulting the privacy policies of the services listed.
Google Analytics (Google Inc.)
In particular, this site uses cookies from the following third parties:
– Google Analytics: an analysis tool from Google which, through the use of cookies (performance cookies), collects anonymous browsing data (IP addresses truncated to the last octet) and exclusively in aggregate form for the purpose of examining the use of the site by users, compiling reports on activity on the site and providing other information, including the number of visitors and the pages visited. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the above information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google. The data transmitted to Google are stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Under a specific agreement with Google, which is designated as data processor, Google undertakes to process the data according to the Controller’s requests (see the end of the notice), issued through the software settings. Under these settings, advertising and data-sharing options are not active. Further information on Google Analytics cookies can be found on the page: Google Analytics Cookie Usage on Websites. YouTube: a platform owned by Google for sharing videos, which uses cookies to collect information on users and browsing devices. The videos on the site do not deliver cookies when the page is accessed, as the “enhanced privacy (no cookie)” option has been set, under which YouTube does not store information about visitors unless they voluntarily play the video. For further information on the use of data and its processing by Google we recommend reading the information on the dedicated page prepared by Google, and the page on How Google uses data when you use partners’ sites or apps.
D. Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are used to create a profile of you as a user, based on the preferences and tastes you have shown while browsing the Internet, and to display advertising messages consistent with your profile. In this way the advertising messages you see may be more interesting to you. As provided by the current privacy legislation, your prior consent is required for the installation of these cookies. For this reason, when you access the Site a prominent banner is displayed, which informs you that (i) profiling cookies are used on the Site and that (ii) by closing the banner, scrolling the home page or clicking any element of the home page outside the banner, you consent to the use of cookies. If you give your consent to the installation of cookies in this way, we will keep track of your consent through a specific technical cookie. In this way, we will avoid showing you the cookie banner during your subsequent visits to the Site. Please note that, if you delete this technical cookie from your browser in the ways described in point C, no. 1 below, the record of your consent would be lost and, therefore, during your next visit to the Site the cookie banner will be displayed again. Of course you are free to block the installation of profiling cookies at any time, without the possibility of visiting the site and using its content being compromised in any way. Profiling cookies are installed by third parties, who act as independent data controllers (third-party cookies).
E. Marketing cookies and other types of cookies or third-party tools that may use them
Some of the services listed below collect statistics in aggregate form and may not require the User’s consent or may be managed directly by the Controller – as described – without the help of third parties. Should the tools indicated below include services managed by third parties, these could – in addition to what is specified and even without the Controller’s knowledge – carry out activities of tracking the User. For detailed information on this, we recommend consulting the privacy policies of the services listed.

Security measures: This site processes users’ data lawfully and fairly, adopting appropriate security measures designed to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification or destruction of the data. The processing is carried out by means of computer and/or telematic tools, with organisational methods and logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Controller, in some cases, categories of persons in charge involved in the organisation of the site (administrative, sales, marketing and legal staff, system administrators) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) may have access to the data. Transfer of data to non-EU countries: This site may share some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union. In particular with Google, Facebook and Microsoft (LinkedIn) through social plugins and the Google Analytics service. The transfer is authorised on the basis of specific decisions of the European Union and of the Italian Data Protection Authority, in particular decision 1250/2016 (Privacy Shield – here the information page of the Italian Data Protection Authority), for which no further consent is needed. The companies mentioned above guarantee their adherence to the Privacy Shield.

To disable third-party cookies, consult the privacy notices of the third parties that install profiling cookies (see paragraph C above) to find out about the other tools available to you to manage, disable and delete cookies, and more generally to object to their use. Remember that, by disabling third-party cookies, (i) you object to their use not only on the Site but on all the websites on which such cookies are used and (ii) the possibility of browsing the Site and using its features will not be affected in any way. When you disable third-party cookies you will still see the cookie banner on the Site’s home page; in this case, however, by closing the banner, scrolling the home page or clicking any element of the home page outside the banner, you will not receive any third-party cookie that you have correctly disabled.
(3) Use the website www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/
Your Online Choices is a website run by the non-profit association European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA), whose Italian-language version can be reached at www.youronlinechoices.eu/it/ and which provides information on behavioural advertising based on profiling cookies (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/a-proposito) and allows Internet users to easily opt out of the installation of the main profiling cookies installed by advertising operators and used on websites (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/le-tue-scelte). Before using this tool, we recommend that you carefully read the general terms of service of the Your Online Choices site, at the following address: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/condizioni-generali-di-servizio, as well as the frequently asked questions (FAQ) (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/faqs) and the user guide (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/it/help). Use Your Online Choices knowingly. Although Your Online Choices brings together many of the most important companies in the advertising world that use cookies, some of the third parties that install cookies across the web may not have joined Your Online Choices. Therefore, using Your Online Choices does not guarantee that you will not receive third-party cookies while browsing the web. Remember, moreover, that by deleting all cookies from your browser, the technical cookies released by Your Online Choices to remember your choices could also be deleted, making third-party cookies active again.

– in cases of processing based on consent, receive, at the mere cost of any medium, the data they have provided to the Controller, in a structured form readable by a data processing device and in a format commonly used by an electronic device;
– the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Italian Data Protection Authority – link to the Authority’s page);
